studioAV and FeONIC develop Soundlounge

studioAV open further demonstration rooms in Eton as part of planned expansion. Working with FeONIC plc of Hull, UK Brian Smith, Managing Director said, “It has been a pleasure to design and create the Soundlounge with studioAV. The sound they have achieved together with looks is fantastic”. Here we show studioAV's bespoke construction made in house with a team of carpenters with high gloss painted finish. Alternative matt or natural wood veneers can be made and supplied both direct and to the trade. Any lifestyle can be achieved, just let us know what go need.

FeONIC sounders are behind the cream panel and are mounted left and right of TV with the centre speaker above or below the TV, the rear sound can be achieved by similar methods or integrated into your favourite picture. The conical sub woofer shown can be replaced by a hidden FeONIC S Drive subwoofer. The level of sub bass can be adopted to suite the installation whether residential, commercial or public location.

What are these FeONIC drives and what makes them special?

Feonic F-Drives are unlike traditional speakers technology because they use a very high powered magnetostrictive smart material as the driver instead of a moving coil. The material that it is connected to becomes "the cone" that you normally see "wobble" at low frequencies (bass). The materials need to be resonant that include glass, plasterboard, plywood, MDF, sheet metal and structures, honeycomb panels, arcrylic,  fibre glass panels and lastly wooden floors.
